Climate Conversations with Congressional Candidates

Cedar Rapids Climate Advocates hosted a series of "climate conversations" with our Congressional candidates to discuss climate, energy, and sustainability issues.  It is time for our country to act on climate change, not only in this country, but to lead the world.  It is time for Congress to do its part in the fight against climate change and the fight for sustainability.

Our "climate conversation" series included conversations with Anesa Kajtazovic of Waterloo (December 3), Dave O'Brien of Cedar Rapids (January 9), Swati Dandekar of Marion (January 23), Monica Vernon of Cedar Rapids (January 30), and Pat Murphy of Dubuque (February 13).  Thanks to the candidates and to all the citizens who attended for participating.

Other candidates for Congress have been invited.  If they schedule a time, it will be announced.
